ConfGoOne
The agreement covering your use of ConfGoOne — written in plain language, but it's still the actual agreement.
Purchasing Pro or Enterprise gives you a license to run ConfGoOne on one activation — one license key, bound to one computer's Machine ID, at a time. It's a license to use the software, not a transfer of ownership of it. ConfGoOne itself, including its source code, rule logic, and branding, remains our property.
ConfGoOne is a configuration auditing and compliance tool. It identifies misconfigurations and maps them to compliance frameworks based on the information it's given — it does not guarantee that following its findings makes any system secure, compliant, or free of vulnerabilities, and it is not a substitute for professional security judgment, a formal audit, or legal/regulatory compliance advice. Compliance framework mappings are provided as a starting point for your own assessment, not as certification of compliance.
ConfGoOne is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to a security incident that occurs on a system ConfGoOne has reviewed.
We may update these terms from time to time — we'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the update. We may suspend or revoke a license in cases of fraud, abuse, or a violation of these terms; where reasonably possible, we'll try to contact you first.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of ConfGoOne will be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
